QuickSilver

A simple top-down shooter written in Java for an university project, where you can shoot your enemies (or friends) in a multiplayer arena.

Controls:

• WASD - Move around
• Left Mouse Button - Primary Fire
• Right Mouse Button - Secondary Fire (for Shotgun)
• R - Reload current Weapon
  • Firing with an empty gun will also reload it
• 1 - Switch to Revolver
• 2 - Switch to Rifle
• 3 - Switch to Shotgun
• Shift - Dash
  • This makes you move faster and gives you invulnerability frames!
• Escape - Enter the in-game menu (for quitting, mostly)
• Enter - Allows you to chat with other players while in-game

You can configure the game in the Settings Menu. Some of the Settings include:

• FOV Factor - this allows you to "see" further as you move the mouse around. Is set at "None" by default.
• User Name - this is what is displayed when you connect to a game

To connect to a multiplayer game, you need to port forward ports 52735 TCP, and 52216 UDP. Clients need to enter the IP of the server they want to connect to.
